Clarkson drove one of those on Top gear a while back. I'd rather have something more original, like a Wiesmann GT.

Wheels are too big. Clarkson drove an Eagle GT or something. It had the correct two headlights, not 4.

Beautiful, but it should only have two "eyes" (headlights)...

I'd rather have the one Clarkson drove. It looked like an original but was mechanically sound.

Weird how this has come back on the radar. I think these renderings debuted nearly a year ago with implications that small number would be produced but nothing has yet to appear. Bo Zolland (the designer/illustrator) does some pretty wild reinterpretations (not limited to cars); he had a modernized p1800 floating around recently that you might recall seeing. Supposedly his take on a first-gen Camaro will be debuting this year at SEMA. Would love to see this Growler built and in the flesh...but give me an Eagle Coupe in a heartbeat. I remember the Top Gear guys laughing there butts off about the name "Growler". In the UK a "Growler" is slang for a vagina.

I thought this Growler and the Eagle GT were made by the same people, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I saw the show, so I can't remember what the two look like.

Actually, to be specific, it's slang for an, err, "unkempt" coochie, and that's what really had them in fits. I still can't look at that car without a snicker at the name.

Wire wheels with knockoffs look nice. I had a car with them. Can't take torque on the splines very well. A few big potholes and they break spokes. Do you know why wire wheels became popular? Brake cooling. Nice looking car too many headlights.
