What Heroic Thing Did JC Penney Do After Being Targeted by An Anti-Gay Group?
 EDIT: The ad copy reads: "What makes Dad so cool? He's the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver — all rolled into one. Or two. Real-life dads, Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their children Claire and Mason."

I guess I must either be blind or exceptionally tolerant. When I read the ad, all I saw was two Dads and two kids. Nothing popped out that shouted "this is a gay couple and their kids."
Just thought two dads, and two kids. Either way, nice ad. angela

I count as friends several gay couples, both men and women raising children. They're all doing a fabulous job and the kids are lucky. All of the kids were adopted out of the foster care system, many of them at birth born to hetero moms who couldn't stay out of jail or off drugs. All of the bigots who have a problem with it need to get a life and ask themselves why they care so much about how other people live their lives. I just don't get the hate.

Hey now, this isn't about how much more Fabulous gay dads are than crack-addict moms. This is about JCP and their 'Heroic" pandering to gays.
But you are right; gay gay dads are often better than crack-addict moms. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is. Yay for JCP's HEROIC pandering to gays.

Progressive Insurance already ran an ad with two obviously gay guys buying insurance together, so they have been beat in the race to pander to that special interest group. Subaru has been marketing to them for years... nothing new here.
