a neighborhood I was working in in New Orleans required 60ft pilings for house foundations. it didn't take very long to drive them down thru the muck. they even required pilings for gunite pools. it's so soft around here I can feel the train passing 1/2 mile away

Them Cajun's got enough going on with their own dam selves, you can leave us out of it!!!

Of course, the cash payment was nice enough to afford a Bentley for some time.....

The pilings we drill, or drive, here tend to be more than a hundred feet deep. Less than 500 feet.
