Think that Vauxhall may be immediate pre-war as it has the split rear window. A friend had a 1946 Vauxhall 12 when we were still at school in the 60's and that I'm almost certain had a one piece rear window.

That looks like the car. Thanks Bob.

I've no idea what it is, but I can tell you that I'm fairly sure that the licence plate is not from the UK. I don't believe they ever had a 2 letter 4 number type plate in black and silver.
Maybe an old Australian or other rhd country. |

It could be a British registration because I used to have an English Morris 8 Tourer(that means it was a 4 cyl. but not an 8 cyl.) of 1935 vintage back in 1965. My regist. was RD7452 so it could be British reg. and it could be a Vauxhall of some description. I have ridden in the back of an Anglia and a Vauxhall back in the '50s and it looks more like a Vauxhall. Are we there yet?:):):)

I talked to the owner, It is a 1948 Vauxhall 14. Apparently it was imported from Australia in the 50's. Thanks for all the help everyone.
It won't take much to get it running. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1340722113.jpg |
