Mystery air craft ?

that appears to be a C-130J so I'd suspect it is a military or federal machine.

Most likely scenario is someone in a tactics shop at some C-130 unit drew up a new low-level route and is using the tip of the lake as a turn point. 300 feet is the minimum height on a training low level, which to the untrained eye on the ground looks darn low. The proper response is to enjoy the show.
Or its an evil government plot where they are dropping experimental virus spores of a new zombie bird flu, so as to test its effectiveness on a small isolated community. |
