Restoring old books

I collect books, I have a few from the 1940's and 50's.

I would like to read them but the pages are getting yellow and I'm afraid I will tear them up.

Any way to restore the paper?

I love books too and would be interested in this topic.

I do know that professioal restorations include a page-by-page cleaning with dry-ice.

Best to contact a rare book dealer.....unless someone on the board it for real after sleeping in a Holiday Inn Express....
