I rest my case. Leland escaped; the rest of you guys are welcome here in the land of the free too.

Whats next, permits for baseball bat ownership?. I wonder if my steel toed logging boots would be considered a weapon "out left".
I am never surprised at how things get ramrodded in Ca. Laws like this only infringe on honest people, the criminal isn't going to be ditching his guns because they are now illegal.

Possession of a Baseball Bat alone can be construed to be possession of a "Billy Club" by legal definition. Yeah, I was in the courtroom when I heard that one. Luckily the judge dropped the case/charges "in the interest of justice".

After 40+ yrs., I sold my business & property & drove out of state @ 3:30 one morning in the summer of '08. I miss only the Bay Area climate.

A 1.125" blade on a $25 Swiss Army knife is a dangerous weapon.
I've had two of them stolen while getting on a plane.

Yet the kitchens of 5-star restaurants are full of terrorists.

...and I share a name with that asshat.

Not cool.

I don't wish to flee my State. I just wish all of the whack jobs that got pushed out of their states would head back. Lee who wrote the bill wasn't born here.

When his relatives come to collect all that money we owe them they want to insure they can't be shot at.
