the one I used in Alaska some years ago was like a leaf blower
also, by 4wd do you really mean AWD...? I looked at pretty much all the small AWD SUV-like objects a year or so ago and posted a thread on them Subaru overall; Honda for best interior, switch feel, and engine revving note Honda has updated their offering recently |

My parents just bought a new CRV that's a nice driving SUV. Bigger inside than I expected, quality feel, drives like a car because technically it's a Civic.

Get a Subie WRX Sti Hatch
305 Hp 4 wd.. My DD is a plain jane WRX just 267Hp.... it is a great car... 26-27 mpg and friggin fast...

Great little cars, good on gas and TONS of fun with the 6spd manual. I love them
