Arriving in Houston after the 4th!

Hey boys, the time is coming, and I'll be in Houston not long after the fourth. I'll be up off 290 in the Crossroads area.... My housing is taken care of, and I'll be bringing some stuff with me. My question is where in that area can I buy a good bed, and not get shafted? I would prefer a place that delivers if possible...

After I get all settled in we'll have to go out, tentatively say Friday the 13th?

21... But ya... I've been not so easy on things, plus getting the shaft from genetics... I pretty much live with mild back pain....

One of my old friends, from Texas no less, told me:

"My daddy always said, 'the two things you don't want to skimp on are your mattress and your boots. You're always in one or the other.'"

And yes, I have insomnia. But not from my mattress, which is fine.

1960 and 290 has plenty of shopping, I would expect Mattress Firm or a similar chain is within a stones throw of you.

Sams club is 2 streets back on West Road. I have a pickup with a 6 foot bed and I live only a couple of miles from these. The same mattress will be 1/2 the cost.

We may need Tom to help carry it and then go for beer and burgers afterwards.
