Darn. I have been a fan all of my life. One of the first concerts I ever attended was Deep Purple in Seattle in the early '70's.

I remember sneaking in to see the early Deep Purple when I was 15 or 16. I asked a guy by the door if anyone was looking, I realized later that was Ritchie Blackmore who did NOT fail to impress me.
