For Sale at the BMW Dealer
![]() ![]() Geez, I think you find better quality at a Dollar Store! And the ratio is right, $5 for stuff that should be in a $1 store! What are they thinking?

Those are all the tools you'll need to repair your BMW's ECU on the side of the road.
I like the rubber mallets. What the hell are you supposed to do with that?

If they were Hazet, I'd understand. Probably the owner's young son getting some marketing experience.

I could understand if they had Snap-on, or something, but this JUNK?
One of the service reps is on my bicycle team. I'll have a talk with him...

Those tools are inline with the quality of the cars. Sorry neither Porsche nor BMW are what they used to be. Marketing and hype have won out. It's all BS from now on. Thank the money people for the world you live in.

Do they also sell motorcycles? I could see that stuff at he motorcycle dealer. BMW bike guys tend to carry a lot of stuff for needed repairs to the mods they have added. For the cars? I couldn't see needing any of that for a roadside repair to a modern car. I don't get the tape measures at all. "will this fit in the trunk or not?"

LOL...Much nicer stuff at Harbor Freight. I'll bet that if you sent those pics to BMW USA they'd be gone from that dealer within a day.

Can't be. None of that stuff could possibly sell there!
When I pickup my X5, I'll check.

This probably means that China recently bought controlling interest in Bavarian Motor Works when nobody was paying attention.

i dont know of any modern bmw owners that still know how to wrench. they buy these cars because of the free maintenance more than the car itself.
