Found a pre war Buick coupe
Todays hard work rewarded me with this great pre war 1922 Buick coupe.
According to the owner,he was the second owner, before that it was his dads,he bought it new. Car started right up and we took it for a spin.Drove pretty good for a 90 year old. Compared to a model t it is more user friendly by todays standard. We have clutch, brake and gas,but also throttle/idle and spark advance in the midle of the steering wheel. It still has the original 1922 CA plates, which later were changed to horseless carriage plates, still cool. The car was used in the movie Changeling with Angelina Jolie, cool factor. I really liked the car so made an offer and brought the car back home. After I took a few photos of it in the late afternoon I fired it up and took it for a drive, filmed it. I have no idea yet whats it worth or where I'm going to sell it,couldn't really find any other coupes for sale. So here are a couple of photos, enjoy. Feedback welcome ![]() ![]()

Tamas, way to go. I find it great that a young man like yourself has the interest in these antique cars and has put together the contacts to track them down and find then a new home for them.
Good on ya!! Cheers Richard |

Looks very nice and straight. The paint does not look up to par. I wonder if you do sell it if a proper detail with color sanding might bring the best out.
That's a dandy little coupe. |

Nice!
If the car is all original, you might want to enter in one of the well known concours shows that happen in California from time to time. They usually have a survivors class for cars such as yours. A class win and some public awareness would likely increase the value significantly. Good luck with your car!
