Growing up on TV. Who did you wish to be like?
Hello.
Some of the fellas on this forum gave me an idea . When you were growing up and watching your favorite T.V shows, who the heck did you think was cool and you wanted to emulate ? Or after some time has past you wish to become ? Initially I wish to be David Cassidy. I ended up in my young years than evolving to Charles Ingalls. I know it's a bit complicated, but just think a bit. |
When younger, Johnny Gage
Im my teens, Sonny Crockett. |
Whoops . I meant David Cassidy. Partridge family.

I wanted to be BJ and the Bear(forgotten what the guys name was, both in the show or real life). I love that truck. Also at the other end of the spectrum, I also like to be Grizzly Adams. He was cool to have all that space all to himself in the woods. I didn't want to be them anymore as I got older.

I forgotten that there was an intro music, but there has to be something. I had to goggle it. I now remember little bit and pieces of it. Especially the "Take me home" part. really cool surfing down memory lane. Thank utube for that. Maybe- performed by Thom Pace- The theme song of TV series " The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams" with lyrics - YouTube

I wanted to be Willis Jackson (Todd Bridges) on Diff'rent Strokes.
I'd envision me (as Willis) and Kimberly finding ourselves alone in the apartment while Phillip, Arnold, et al were out on some wacky adventure . . . |
My three sons. I didn't mind, just anyone of the three sons. The reason why is that they were just really nice people.
