The "Lil" Dog Is Gone And It Couldn't Be Helped.
Late last week the "Lil Dog" Zoey started hacking up some water and by Monday she crashed and burned by throwing up everything....so back to the Vet she went...they suggested some new Blood Work..which showed.....High Blood Glucose, Pancreatitis, and higher Liver Numbers than before....The best case scenario was Pancreatitis and Diabetes the worst was tumors that were not detected before and Surgery. So an Ultrasound was scheduled ...leaving the Vet before the Ultrasound the bottom just dropped out emotionally...I knew this was it no matter what...I went back to the Vet after the Ultrasound to pick Zoe up to take her home for the the night. They gave her an anti nausea shot, and when I got home I liquefied a pain pill that was prescribed upon her release several weeks ago. I had never heard her whimper before...
So on Tuesday morning I got the call that there was a "Mass" on her Pancreas and at the bottom of her Gall Bladder....no choice left but to put her to sleep..so yesterday at about 10:30 AM she went to sleep for ever. God Bless you Zoey...you were a very sweet dog, that loved to give kisses, and wanted nothing more than to be loved. Starting late last week I started going over everyday to my friend who is in the last stages of Terminal Ovarian Cancer...which has spread to her Liver. Everyday that I left her house I thought for sure the next morning I would get a call...yesterday she said that, "A woman that was skinny and had short hair was sitting next to her" on the Couch...That in of itself should tell you that she is getting ready to cross over. So what rolls me is that not only is it my dog that I loved very much but a close stand up friend that I could count on that is fastly fading away...that is a one two punch..

So sorry to hear. You've had great dogs and this is the end game of that. They are sweet creatures. I still cannot get another dog since mine passed away over 4.5 years ago. I just pet everyone else's dogs everyday.
