I love these threads by Juan. This one is particularly amazing. I'll bet the owner almost fell over when he saw the results!!

Can you make any decent money doing this Juan? I know it is VERY hard work, but I was just wondering what kind of money you can get for a job like this (if you don't mind sharing).

And are you doing the interiors, also?

Thanks,

JA

Jandrews,

This car earned a spot in the top 10 worst cars that I've ever done, the pictures don't do any justice, it was a mother mess. If you are a Professional detailer you can make good money, not to take anything away from any of them at all but most of the ones that make real good money are always doing late model cars which is not that bad. Still don't matter how you cut it this is a LOT of work, is intensive work. I could never do this for a living no way!

This car took me 10 hours of non stop working, the interior was also done but my 11 year old boy is always eager to make money so by now he can pretty much do the inside alone without any supervision, including the door jams.

This job should had been a $700.00 job for sure, but I did it for a customer that has promised to send me 6 more cars so I only charged $450.00 which is a bargain.

I ought to drive my track car down there to see you. It's black and looks about as bad as this. It used to look shiny and nice. It might be a tie.

My 8 year old bimmer is looking a little shabby. $700 would be a bargain compared to a new car. How far are you from Virginia?

Holy Moly! Maybe I should fly you out to Kalifornia for a working vacation! The paint on my Land Rover looks close to that of the Altima.
