Inches...What'chu got fellas?
I'm mowing on a 60" John Deere.
I don't want to start deck envy, but I don't see how I could live with anything less than 60 inches. I've got over two acres to mow, so obviously your need is situational. What size is your deck? ![]()

Only 2 acres and you need 60"...
We mow a little over 5 with 48"... Have discussed a 52", but we have several spots that 60 would be too wide for.... |

We have more acres, but we are probably mowing 2+. I'm always thinking of ways to reduce this amount of mowing.

I got a neighbor boy who takes care of everything and I don't even think about it. Looks nice though.

72" + offset 60" combo unit for the runway. 60" for the yard. I would slit my wrists if I had to mow the 9 acres every weekend with anything less than 60".

72" mid mount deck for my Kubota! We cut 5 acres and I can cut all of it in just under two hours, my wife on the other hand takes quite a bit longer. But in her defense, she has only done it three time in the 22 years we have lived here!

Width is good but speed is key...couldn't imagine having to go "tractor speed". My John Deer Zero turn runs 9mph...make quick work of the yard.

Kubany with 60" but I have about 4ac of native grass/weeds to mow every Spring. Have to do it about 4 times before it all dries out. Cannot wait til it's all dry to cut...fire danger is big

I used to have a fleet of the two stroke 21's, they were light, fast & low maintenance. California took them away........along with usable gas cans among other things.
