Flex is fine when the system was designed for it, his was not. He will have a major reduction in the air flow, coming and going from the registers.
Flexible duct has a place, and its not replacing existing sheet metal duct. Size of duct, CFM that blower is capabile of and CFM that is needed to heat/cool rooms needs to be accounted for. |
