Where's sniper to say that the cop was out of line and that he wouldn't have had his foot run over if he just would have let the guy go.

First of all, if I was the cop, I wouldn't put my foot where it can be run over...What an idiot!

Actually, why did he even let him in the car?

Apparently the car was parked in a hotel valet zone.

I wonder what the ticket was for? May not have been a parking ticket at all. Car has no front plate which is required in NY and I don't see a registration or inspection sticker in the lower left of the windshield.

The guy walks over and has what seems to be a calm quick exchange with the officer who does respond.

Driver does not seem the least bit upset or angry.

Can't really hear but he may have been telling the cop he is going to move the car.

As the driver closes the door the officer steps in front of the car then just as the car starts to move the cop leans into it with his knees.

The cop does say something about getting his foot run over but does not react or make any effort to move back. Car moves again and the cop yells at him, you can see the guy asking "what".

Cop starts to look back at his ticket book and it does not seem the car moves again before the cop goes ballistic.

Driver is stupid, does not look like he was trying to get out of or avoid the ticket and should have just left it alone.

I think the cop should be nominated for an Oscar.

I agree that the driver is stupid, but he was trying to drive away from a ticket and the path ahead was not clear, the cop was there already.

I think some of the limp by the cop could have been for the camera.

I used to work in a car wash while in High School, sometimes it would hurt to have my foot run over, most of the time not. When it did hurt, it was genuine but I toughed it out and learned not to let the cars roll over my feet. I trust this cop learned the same lesson.
