new shop is underway....
We are moving our shop to a new location in the next month or so......
Much more suitable building remodeled to our needs, old shop was a poor location and hard to find even though it was the Porsche shop for 40 years in the Orlando area..... Looking forward to fresh everything and is coming together nicely..... Here are a few pics, the building is about 3 times the size of the 5 Bays pictured..... More to come.... We are ” German excellence”, formally ”Zotz”... ![]() ![]()

got 2 of the lifts in place today (not fully wired yet obviously) we'll have a total of 5 lifts in this section of the building.......we're also going to eliminate the square overhang above the rear wall so the ceiling will be symmetrical....

Why not board the bottom of the overhang for some extra storage for stuff you don't use often?

It's going to be a little too close to hoods when a car is in the air...especially on 7 series BMWs, big Benz's, and cayennes......
There is plenty of storage in the building, behind the long wall is room for about 3 cars wide and 2 deep, plus about 600 sq ft of dry storage, another bay which is 2 cars deep, plus a dedicated room for engine rebuilds which could fit another 2 cars if we squeezed them through the door....plus our office, office storage, customer waiting area, multiple restrooms etc.....plus we have a gigantic parking lot, part of which we will be fencing in for security... We are stepping up our game...... We are planning on doing a big octoberfest type grand opening after we get settled from the move from the current building....... I'll post more as we accomplish it.....

and if you notice the recess in the floor where the lifts are it's to be able to easily place low porsches on the lifts without having to dick around with driving them onto planks.
thanks joe......i've been with the company almost 3 years, we've been working on this move for the past year....we are very very close.....

G'day!
|
Bell, I never knew Ron had sold his business but then I haven't been very active in the Citrus region events or had to get service in O'ville for quite some time. I never used Zotz myself but know he serviced a lot of Porsches in the area. I used Redbone a few times and was very pleased with their service - I wonder if they are still in business. Doesn't really matter.....good luck with the improvements....as Joe said that's the way to do it!

come on by! all are welcome....
there were 2 divisions of zotz...... zotz garage which handled all street cars, and zotz racing which mainly handles customer race cars (they are still in business and ran by ron zitza). my boss don worked for them for twenty years, and bought zotz garage from them about 6 years ago, last year we changed the name....... there are quite a number of independents in the orlando area which have gone out of business.....we have held our own by concentrating on customer service and the finer details of all things related to german cars......when porsche of orlando recommends clients to us we must be doing something right ![]() redbone is one of the shops that are still around......dont know them personally though
