Let's face it revolvers suck....

I pull the trigger, it goes bang. I pull the trigger again, it goes bang again.



Semi-auto, I pull the trigger, it goes bang (the first time) and then it will probably go bang the second time.

I've seen revolvers jam, but only at the firing range after lots of continuous rounds of "hot" loads. In a self defense situation, not a chance.
