The RUF Registry

Hey guys, I decided to put together a RUF Registry to keep track of all the various RUF cars from around the world. Currently there should be at least one car in each category and I'm adding new ones constantly. Please like us on facebook and follow on Instagram!

The site: RUF Registry | Where RUF Fans Unwind

Facebook: RUF Registry | Facebook

Instagram: @rufregistry

Also, if you know anyone with a RUF who would like to be included, please have them e-mail me at zamirz@gmail.com

Thanks,

Amir

^Thanks guys.

Zeke, dunno why that photo isn't showing up properly.

I guess I'll just keep this post as a running log when I add or update cars.

Anyway, I added 2 new cars, a black CTR2 Sport and a Gulf Blue RTurbo 650 "Nardo" conversion based off of a GT2. They're at the top of the list here:

Looks like eletric car talk is heating up here in Pelican OT. I translated an older french article with some excellent photos of the eRUF Greenster and put them on the rufregistry. Check it out on the homepage:

rufregistry.com

Also, I added the silver CTR3 Clubsport to the Registry, you can jump straight to that page here:

^Indeed.

I added a new blog post and also a pretty sweet Grigio Avalon (Ferrari color) RT12 to the registry.

I'd love to know who the biggest RUF customer has been. It might be my cousins, (if you include the whole family), but who knows? Maybe someone in the ME?

The Beddors seem to have purchased a good amount of cars from Alois Ruf. A lot of them are uniquely 1-off too, like the 964 CTR and obviously the yellow CTR2 that Steve used to do the hillclimbing with.

There's a gentleman in Romania who has had quite a few modern RUFs including the first production CTR3 (the matte black/gray one).

A few years before the economic crash there was a huge influx of cash from a Bahraini royal and they even opened up a RUF center in Bahrain which was intended to facilitate delivery and after-sales service for middle and far east customers. They pulled out of Bahrain in late 2008 though.

I added a few new blog posts to the homepage, including a cool article from a 1978 issue of Auto Motor Und Sport on the SCR. Unfortunately it's written in German, but the specs are still impressive. I just uploaded it:

I've also added about 6 cars to the registry since my last post here, you can view them all in chronological order from most recently added to oldest here:

I'm always posting on the facebook page when I make an update, feel free to like us:
