Insomniac alert: Belmont Shore Car Show Sun 9/9
2012 Belmont Shore Car Show - September 12, 2010
This is the easiest show to see although is is the largest street show on the west coast. Free parking, free shuttles and the show is free. The bars, restaurants and shops are open. I sit at the head of the show as they load at 7am. Therefore, they drive right by me; I don't wander all day looking. Come on down to the intersection of Livingston Dr. and 2nd Street with your folding chair at 7. I think the best part of the show is the people who actually own and drive these cars in. If you think you've seen everything, you're flat wrong. The drive-in is over at 8 am. Go do what there is to do after that (a lot). My 'mystery' woman shows up each year all alone and turns me into Jello. I've told her she had beautiful hair. She agreed. I bombed. A melted ice cream bar lying on the dirty street where I belong. |

![]() Say hello to my folks for me. Jim & Kathy Bremner. If you listen to this engine I think that you will find this the smoothiest sounding V8 ever.

Sorry I missed your Long Beach gtg today, but took in a casual Corona del Mar meet instead.
Plenty of swell machines, although this resplendent ’72 ‘R Gruppe’ was a favorite: ![]() ![]() ![]() |
