It's a stretched 7 passenger platform, but it is the same platform

The Q5 is the same as the Tiguan and upcoming Porsche Macan

Ah, I see, Blue. Yeah, the V10 Touareg ....but that's not exactly the same a fuel-sipping 3-liter 6. (the sipping is pushing the envelope, I suppose)

It's weird how they set these configurations.

Actually, the Touareg and Cayenne are the same platform (a VW platform, BTW).

The Q7 is on a stretched version of that platform.
