Our daughter's boyfriend is missing...
 

19-year-old missing after car crash

This is Nathan, he's our daughter's boyfriend. He's been missing since Wednesday night, so it will soon be 48 hours since anyone has heard from him. His phone was found at the scene, but no trace of him. Friends, family, police and fire dept. folks have been out looking for him, frantically searching since he may have had a head injury, etc...

Rebecca (our daughter) is devastated and we feel helpless, all we can do is pray and hope that he's OK. Very sad times here...

Art our family will keep him in our thoughts.

So many possibilities. Hope all goes well and he is found okay or simply calls soon. The 'left behind cell phone' has become a significant finding these days as a sign of possible erratic behavior.

did the accident look like his head had taken a blow (windshield "star"...)? People with closed head injuries can do really weird things but need to be found ASAP...sorry for your situation.

Thanks, guys... We don't have much info at all. Our daughter is calling Nathan's mother tonight to see if they know anything more...

Nathan's mother just called us, they found his body. We have no details at this time and our daughter is understandably distraught. Surreal...

Oh man that's awful. Really weird though.

So Sorry for everyone touched by this tragedy. I hope the family can find some comfort in at least having him back and begin healing. Tragic loss for all.

I cannot express just how shocked and saddened we all are. How do you comfort your child after something like this?? Rebecca is absolutely distraught and inconsolable...a 17 year old should not be going through this... Nor should a young man's parents...

Perhaps it's a good time to seek some professional help for your daughter. There is only so much a loving parent can do on their own.

Find a good psychologist (preferably one that specializes in grief counseling). My best friend died when we were both 20 and I didn't deal with it in a very good manner.
