Question about a magazine collection
I have collection of Antique Automobile Magazines. Antique Automobile is published by the Antique Automobile Association. There are six issues per year, and I have from late 1957 thru 1992 inclusive. I am missing six issues within this range. I also have several member rosters from the 1970s. They're in pretty good shape, as far as magazines go.
I have had these for years, but I would like to sell them. Anyone have any idea (other than eBay) where I could sell these? I'd like to sell the whole set as one. Didn't know where else to ask. Let me know. Thanks!

Yeah, I have some C/D and R&T dating back to the 60s too. Not getting rid of those. I know that shipping is a bear on these.

I see them selling for .50 to a buck when people get to choose the issue. Deep discounts for large purchases. I expect to pay a dime for a lot of mags that have some interest/worth.
I don't know if your mags are still in publication, but the best place to get a good home for these is to place an ad in the mag itself or Hemmings. |

Took some to a Porsche thingie byron hosted forever ago, sold a few at $5 per pop, mostly more recent stuff like early issues of Excellence. Did let go of the first few editions which were Porsche, then Porsche "soon to be Excellence", then "Excellence formerly Porsche" and then finally just Excellence as a set for $60 - and the way the guys arm nearly broke as he pulled his wallet out makes me think I shoulda gone higher. Folks were interested in looking at my stuff from teh early 50s thru the 90s, but not a lot of buying.
I am headed to a local car show this coming weekend, will set up a table and try for $2 or 3 per issue

Joe, Antique Automobile is a actually the club publication of the Antique Automobile Club of America, or AACA. My dad has been a member since the mid 50's, so the next time I stop in to see him, I'll check a current issue for ads for back issues, to see if I can help in valuation.
