Don't see anyway using a old school manly safety razor is metro compared to the multi blade neon colored plastic disposable doohickeys you get at the supermarket.

The weight of a real Double Edge razor is part of the benefit. You have better control because of the mass of the razor. I use a Merkur with Merkur or Feather blades.

Try it, you just might like it. Those plastic razor are over priced also. $3 for a Fusion? What properly indoctrinated lemmings we have become to pay that for a disposable razor.
