Anybody have any exp with FNH FNAR ?

I have a line on one of these .308s. Anybody?

Owning in NJ comes down to how many add ons I have. With a pistol grip only its OK.

Mags are expensive as all get out - $60-80. Gun has dropped from $1700 to $1100 ... from what I understand, think Browning BAR with larger mag.

I'd skip it and get a FAL, or if you are interested in the precision accuracy stuff as opposed to 2-3 MOA battle rifle accuracy a M14 type.

A DPMS LR-308 will be more reliable, less expensive, and more customizable. Magpul mags for it are under $20.

I have seen three major FNAR failures--out of three FNARs that I have seen on the range. FN makes a lot of nice spoons but the FNAR isn't one of them.

And yes, mags are hideously expensive.
