Two weeks on the international space station as a paying customer to the Russian Space Agency...........Go big or stay home! :D
In a more fact-based reality...many of these ideas are good. I'm thinking: Warm weather trip would be the Maldives or Australia/New Zealand Cold weather would be multiple stops in the French/Italian/Austrian alps. |
The Alps (again).

I would jump in one of these, which I have flown:

Hey Paul,
If you need a copilot, give a ring. Would do that in a heartbeat! When are you coming back to AZ? Temps are now below 100 so life is good! Joe A |
Spain. Spain right now would be just about perfect.

I do this every year (except sometimes it's 3 weeks). Planning for New Zealand in February. Previous trips were mapped here!

My company runs the concessions at Lake Powell, and I'm buddies with a few of the people there. One threw up an intriguing offer that I have not gotten out of my head, especially given how much I love the red rock country.
He suggested coming to Lake Powell in October. The water is still 80 degrees and clear as a bell, the weather still warm, and the tourists have gone home. Drop a houseboat out on a deserted arm of the lake with a beach, couple of friends and the kids, and a speedboat full of gas. He said if I want music, bring it because there is no cell or radio reception. I wont see another person for two weeks and he swears the stars are so bright at night that you can read a book by them. I'm tired and stressed right now. This sounds like a little piece of heaven... angela |
Holland, the family hails from there. I am a first generation Canadian. One day.....one day.

A beach... one with good snorkeling and few people.

I've done the Great Barrier Reef and Tahiti... I've done Tokyo and Venice. I am curious about Hungary and Czech... and have not yet seen Ireland.

I know people who have done that and love it and they are spot on about no communication. Take an XM radio with you and you will be fine. If worried about it, take a SPOT receiver (have one I could loan you) just in case... Its really beautiful up there... Joe |

Winters there are grey and windy, while spring is beautiful but still nippy. I used to live 30 klicks from the Dutch border and we would go there at least once a month to buy flowers and fish. Very nice part of the world and people... |
