IOS 6 released today

of course i couldnt wait and did the upgrade this morning and yes, I HATE the new maps.. I also dont like the 'flagged' or 'VIP' icons in the mail feed that you cannot get rid of.

By "unlock" do you mean jailbreak? If so that's not a correct statement - there are a number of good, easy-to-use JBs out there for iOS 5.1x including RedSn0w and Absinthe. I have the latest iOS prior to v6 and had no issues - working fine, told AT&T to take a flying leap even though it's one of "their" phones. No problems, no issues.

No, I mean unlock. Jailbreak is different. If you unlock the iPhone, you can use SIM cards from other carriers, like I was trying to do in Europe.

go into privacy settings and location settings and turn location services back off. That will improve your battery life.

I'm still getting about 2 days out of my battery on my iphone4.
