Double post --- 2 wrecked boxsters
Sorry folks but I need a final OT comment on my craziness!
"I found 2 boxsters which are wrecks. Burnt engine probably small rear end collision: http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w78428084 Wall scraper: http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f120033945 The burnt one: Body seems straight Top of engine, all plastic is melted Front pulleys and belts melted Has the updated headlights Doesnt smell like fire Rear has probaly less than 1 inch of crinkle crunch The wall scraper is unknown but these are the same owner and was considering to swap engines and do the same that I'm thinking. As a project this would be my first engine drop and what not. If the prices stay under ¥10,000 ($100) towing and recycle fees (Japan precharges you like beer bottles) would be initial investments and the cars would turn my home into a junk yard. Even if I never got around to piecing 1 together, the wheels on the burnt one could be sold and I'd almost out no money. I'm I nuts?" At the moment still a few hours to go but could walk away with these for less than $300 each! |

If nothing else, I would think you could easily profit by parting them out at $300 each.
