Alaska Concealed Carry Laws
Without a permit, any person over the age of 21 may carry a concealed pistol without a permit. This does not carry over into the following locations: Courthouses, schoolyards, bars, and domestic violence shelters. As far as reciprocity goes with other U.S. states, a permit may be requested and shall be issued by the Alaska Department of Safety. |
While we're on the subject, USA Carry has an interactive map showing which states will honor a particular state's permit.
Concealed Carry Permit Reciprocity Maps - USA Carry Arkansas is perhaps one of the 'better' ones, only 10 states will not honor it. Jim |
