Like an old movie line: "He learns slowly... "

Glad to know your f'n gun is coming back. I hope his f'n check is good. I'll do an f'n good job for you. they sent me a tracking number but did not tell me who the carrier was. By the number it looks like USPS. I replied that I needed to know who the carrier was, but have not gotten a return email. Or would that be an f'n email?
|
I just ran the tracking number through USPS...it's a comin' my way alrighty.
|
David,
Pls make sure the f'ing check is good before you proceed. I know you will fix the damage but this idiot is just silly enough to play basketball with it... Also pls make some pics of the spoon before you send it out. Hard for him to tap-dance around things with documentation. |
Thanks Joe. Good f'n advice.
|
At this point I just do not trust the jerk...

Time will tell....time will tell.

Well Clint did the right thing. I applaud him. Got the gun back and a check for my services on the repair and a return UPS ticket. Good man. It will be done by Friday and back to AZ to Don.
|
Let's hope they don't scratch it again. Wouldn't that be a biotch.
|
If Don has already done the transfer, Clint won't have to receive it again. David can ship directly to Don via regular mail.
|
Glad to see it done. Hope you get it back ok...

In other words, Clint wants to make sure that the "Spoon" must come back through the shop again for "another try at mucking it up!"
|
OK just so we ALL see it. This is the piece going out tomorrow. As you can see it is fixed. Getting pretty shiny, starting to look like a browning.

Stunning!

Hey Don,
Print out the above photos and take them with you when you go to pick the spoon up. Sure would make good backup! |
I'm shipping it assembled, bubble wrapped and in a gun case. There will be no need to do anything but check the serial number to put it in his book. Of course he has do take it down to verify that. Fingers crossed.

Reminds me why getting my C&R was the smartest move I ever made as a collector. No more fees and hassles. OP, If you haven't aready, a C&R is worth its weight in gold for like $30.

You need an FFL as a gunsmith. I do what I have to do.
