High of 36 forecast for today, with 12 hours of snow flurries. I am ready!

This years membership tags arrived in the mail yesterday :D

I prefer two boards, I don't like sitting on my ass every time I get off the lift. ;)

Never too early, I've already been talking about it for months.

This year I've promised myself a few off piste days, not done it before and can't wait

Flow bindings: lock and glide off with no ass-time :)

I'm hoping to return to Whistler next year.

Hard boots with a snowboard? Don't think I've ever seen that before. Is it somewhat unusual? Assume it keeps your ankles straighter?

I would love to give Whistler a try. Lucky...

Still snowing here, after 2 days. No serious accumulation, but it sure is putting me in the mood.

like this:

i have a Burton GS race board and an all mountain board. the Burton is 171cm long, IIRC, and the other is a very nice 'Ride' at 162cm. hard boots are good for going really fast and having razor control. and that is about it. i get comments all the time about the hard boots. usually, i am the only one on the mountain with hardboots. usually. there is a guy that works at brighton that rides hard boots and he is insanely good.

one more:

i really want a go-pro for this season.

Joe Bob 10-04-2012 04:16 PM

Gonna get one as well and compare to the Contour.

nynor 10-04-2012 04:26 PM

contour? i hadn't heard of that one. i guess i better research a bit.

Joe Bob 10-04-2012 04:32 PM

I did a write up on it....has it's advantages....but I'd like to compare it. The GP seems a bit unwieldy in some instances.

nynor 10-04-2012 04:42 PM

from your write-up, i won't be buying the contour.

I was thinking snowboarding months ago. :) put a new stomp pad on my board just two weeks ago! Wooooooo hooooo!

That's the way I do it!

nynor 10-04-2012 08:09 PM

that reminds me, i still don't have a stomp pad on the all-mountain board.
