Is it too early to start talking about snowboarding?

Nice drive on the Beartooth Pass 2 days ago:

High of 36 forecast for today, with 12 hours of snow flurries. I am ready!

This years membership tags arrived in the mail yesterday

I prefer two boards, I don't like sitting on my ass every time I get off the lift.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Never too early, I've already been talking about it for months.

This year I've promised myself a few off piste days, not done it before and can't wait

Flow bindings: lock and glide off with no ass-time

Hard boots with a snowboard? Don't think I've ever seen that before. Is it somewhat unusual? Assume it keeps your ankles straighter?

I would love to give Whistler a try. Lucky...

Still snowing here, after 2 days. No serious accumulation, but it sure is putting me in the mood.

like this:

i have a Burton GS race board and an all mountain board. the Burton is 171cm long, IIRC, and the other is a very nice 'Ride' at 162cm. hard boots are good for going really fast and having razor control. and that is about it. i get comments all the time about the hard boots. usually, i am the only one on the mountain with hardboots. usually. there is a guy that works at brighton that rides hard boots and he is insanely good.

one more:

I did a write up on it....has it's advantages....but I'd like to compare it. The GP seems a bit unwieldy in some instances.

Small light weight video camera for bicycle use?
