Looks great!
You may have mentioned this already but are you planning to tie the subframes together? I recall frame flex was a problem with these cars...especially convertibles. |

Wow! I don't even fancy big 'muriccan cars but I know good job when I see one!
Any car that you put that amount of elbow grease will be a great car! Best wishes, looking forward for new pics.

Thanks guys it is a good amount of work and I have found I am much older then I think I am . I have been more sore in places I did not know existed after working on this car.
that said I really enjoy how simple it is thats why I think I want to keep it. though time may change that?

Ben, that is some beautiful work!
Having restored a couple dozen cars over the years (mainly Mustangs), and now finally doing my first Porsche project, I am very impressed! Of course the $2500 in sheet metal doesn't account for the many hours of your time that adds up quickly. I just sold my 1966 Mustang fastback, 1967 Mustang convertible, 1966 Bronco, and Kirkham Cobra. I couldn't even finish the 1966 Mustang as I got burned out. Funny part was it only needed paint and reassembly, all the welding and body work was complete. I think I must be getting old also! Kepp up the great work and thanks for posting pictures!

thanks I have worked hard on it. I have been watching auction prices lately and 67's are fetching good money but I really want to drive this car so I may finish it up over the summer and drive it and maybe keep it? who knows then some day find another 911 or a 914 for a 6 project.
