Suzuka *spoiler*
It was funny because I was watching with my wife last night (yes, she has become an F1 fan) and right before the lights went out I said, "if Alonso crashes out the driver's championship will get very interesting."
Congrats to Kobayashi. My wife couldn't watch the last few laps as Button was closing. Despite her built-in cultural bias against Japan she was rooting heavily for Kobayashi as was I. While I know that racers are racers, I still have to wonder if Jenson didn't push quite as hard as he would have at another track. Of all the racers he knows how much a podium for Kobayashi would mean to the fans. What an awesome track. The esses look very fun and 130R looks intimidating. |

The whole track (with the exception of maybe the sole back straight) looks intimidating. Which is why it's probably loved so much by the drivers.
Congrats to Kamui. What a weekend for him. Did Massa drive well enough to keep his ride for next year? Funny how the same few drivers always seem to be the ones needing to come in for new nose cones/front wings, race in and race out.

So cool for Kobayashi at Suzuka!
Banzai! Banzai! Banzai! I also wondered what Jensen was thinking in that last lap...
