MICHAEL ANDERSON from publishers clearing house in JAMAICA just told me so (with broken english). he is bringing me a car and a check for 1.5 million to my house today!!!!

i could not resist. i had to go along just to see when i have to send him some money to get my prize. he will call me back with more details.
this is just too funny.
i wish i could have recorded the conversation. he kept asking how i feel. then "they" all clapped for me winning a prize, even though i was 3rd place. then he went into how this is legit and not a joke. oh, and i had to give a shout out to be recorded so they could play it back later for me.
he also kept telling this conversation is being recorded for security puposes.

i cant believe they think they can get anything out of people and worst of all, i cant believe anyone would ever send them money.

i just talked to my brother. he said when they call back, i should tell him i work for the federal govt (some office) and i have a trace on the call.

You think they are going to turn it in? Doesn't matter. They only want wire transfers. No addresses. I guess there are some drop spots in the UK.

My grandmother's caretaker, who is only in her early 50's, fell for this and asked for an advance on her paycheck to give to the Jamaican scammers. My 90 yr. old grandmother assured her this was a scam and to forget about it. So she went and got the money elsewhere and paid the guys $500. They kept calling for more, were very pesty about it and she finally realized she'd been taken. Life is hard on stupid people.
