What's wrong with it?

Like duh - it's got square headlights.

Real jeeps have ROUND headlights.

There is:

Upgrade kits for '87-'95 Jeep Wranglers | YJUpgrades.com

But most folks use modified TJ grilles.

People that worry about square vs round headlights make me chuckle. While I've had brand new round-lighted TJ's and hemi-powered Grand Cherokees, this is my favourite Jeep of them all.

Painted entirely in rocker guard (inside and out), "detailed" with a 5 lbs sledge when needed, big-ass wheels and tires courtesy of Jeff Alton, and a ****-load of fun.

Here's my latest month-long 6000km trek from Vancouver to Toronto; the Anything But Video Games Tour. (I work in online video games, and needed a break to regain my sanity).

Loaded up with my 10' inflatable pontoon boat, fishing and camping gear, and camera equipment.

Needless to say, there are no concerns of the shape of the headlights when you drive in the appropriate locations:

The best kind of Jeep is the one that is actually used as intended, regardless of year or model.

the car of my past that i miss most is my 1984 CJ-7. i loved that thing.

but damn..that carburetor was the biggest piece of crap ever. it would clog at the mildest dust..not so good with an offroad vehicle. turned out i needed a new fuel tank.

then the shaft for the butterflies wore out.

but still, i loved that thing. not so sure i could keep it smog friendly in california, so i sold it.

I never said it was an improvement!

Nothing wrong with square headlights... I've had a couple of Cherokees that took me plenty of scenic places by the light of its square sealed beams.

Actually, I thought it was too. Not for a daily driver, but to load up friends and have fun in the woods, camping, etc.

Looks like a great trip and a really nice Jeep. Headlights, own a Notchback in the 356 world

I call mine the Notchback of Notre Dame.

Exactly! It's a reason to give the YJ guys crap. YJ's are great off-roaders (then again, I'm a coil spring fan) - the YJs can't help it if they're ugly, they point themselves down or up the trail with all the best of them.
