Surprise Military Family Welcome Home at South Carolina Football Game

Get your hankies out...you're going to need them....wow....

The Faile family from Kershaw, South Carolina, was the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Military Family of the Game, set to be recognized on the field. Their first surprise was a message to them from their dad/husband, Sergeant First Class Scott Faile, playing on the video board, followed by an even bigger surprise. The Gamecocks would go on to beat Georgia, 35-7, just as Sgt. Faile predicted.

Good Stuff.... my youngest son Ryan swam for USC - graduated in 2010 - was a ROTC schlorship student - commissioned 2LT/Infantry - deployed to COP Baraki Barak [BBK] in 2011 - his first duty station - was in-country 55 days and got hit with a RPG - fortunately - minor shrapnel cuts to face,arms,hands.. this was his first duty station.. he saw alot of action -has the videos to show it...

USC >> GREAT school!!! Go Gamecocks!!!

Kind of nice how some of these families will give the rest of us a glimpse of the sacrifice they make.

Momma is fast and gave a bit of elbow getting by her daughter.

Seeing those families reunited always gets me. Same with the goodbyes, I watched a wife and son saying goodbye to the husband/dad at the airport, that was a challenge to keep composed. As a husband and father I can't imagine the sacrifice that our men and women in uniform make, God bless them for their service.

That was nice. There are a couple of compilation videos of those surprise homecomings that are real tear-jerkers.
