How well do you ...
document a car that is being shipped?
My daughter and her husband are shipping her Suburban back to Virginia. They've left it at our house for pickup at a later as yet to be determined time. Today I thoroughly vacuumed the inside and put all the things they are shipping with the car in black trash bags. I was planning on taking some good quality pictures of the inside and out once I wash it. Is that sufficient or should I do more?

Yes lots of detailed pics.
Exterior more important than exterior. You can always ask the driver to do a walk around and make note of anything they see.

When I sold my vintage race car the two guys that picked it up took a lot of pictures. Since it was in a trailer they took picts of how I tied it down (were happy), how spare parts, tires, wheels, camera system and even the radio system so everything could not be claimed as lost or damaged. After that we all signed a reciept of what was in the trailer and the condition of everything.
