How do I change the message sig line on my android?
I know we have some techy androidians here...
As you smart phone users know when you send a message the recipient gets a little tag line at the bottom "this message sent from a android or iPhone" as the case may be. You may also know that you can edit that to saying to whatever you want... such as "go pound sand you poopyhead". I'm going to dig into the online database for my Samsung Galaxy SII running android 4.0.4 but the challenge is to see if PPOT can answer my quest before the WWW. Carry on...

Go to your email. Click left button for settings. Chose the account & one of the settings is: Signature.

This brings up an important learning moment...if your mobile email signature still says "sent from my ______" please change it immediately. You look silly.

OK changes the message... however just to pick nits that is an email setting... it will carry over to texts?

Who has a signature on their texts? If nothing else, it reduces the number of characters you can put in the message.

It isn't a signature in a text, its in an email sent from your phone.
