Randy Bernard Fired by Indycar
So you finally have some excitement in the series, interest from outside manufacturers, some good racing, and an American champion. Let's fire the head honcho and let the greed of Chip, Rodger, Michael, and Tony G steer it back to the circus show open wheel racing became after the split.

It was long overdue. To put somone in his place who had never seen an Indy type race before was silly. He should have stayed in the bull ring. In fact, that's where he is this weekend.

You gotta wonder if he supportive of Brian Barnhart. If so, that would have sealed his fate but they couldn't fire him the moment Brian left.
Some awful stuff has happened under Randy's watch. Las Vegas death of Weldon, the gosh awful decision last year to restart in the rain that cause a major pile up, Texas Motor Speedway starting position by lottery, inconsistency in driver punishments, track surfaces not being anywhere close to the quality needed to race...
