Sometimes the cables had explosives on them. If you look at a pic of the D-Day invasion force, the Allies had many barrage balloons over the fleet and landing beaches for the same reason. It would be cool to have some background on the various videos, like the ejection from the A-10; was it a test? The timecodes and watermarks are unnecessary.
