My Kite Flying Video Makes Women Scream

INSERT BIG GRINS HERE.

Thought I'd share some of this last summers fun with a GoPro2 video camera on a larger frame twin line stunt kite.

Film:

GoPro2, electrical taped to a cross spar on a New Tech / Dodd Gross Big Bang Kite, video'd in HD at 720p x 60 fps filming keeps it crisp, edited in Sony Vegas. One Danggg Perfect flying day on a beach............."somewhere" between Florence and Lincoln City Oregon.

Stay tuned for Chapter II, the roller coaster motion seasick tour gets worse/better!. Mo' spins = bigger grins.

I LOVE watching this on my bigscreen 55" LCD Hi-Def TV..........Vimeo and the Web doesn't do it justice. Yes women scream and leave the room. grins.

Enjoy: Feel Free to comment.

sweet.

go full screen and in hi-def:

That was great - the screaming bit made me laugh. But, there is some crazy looking dude in the video that you should really keep an eye on. . .

Larry, the passion for "non video game" fun starts young. Karma pays forward.

get 'em some kites from Santa, heck, I'll send you some for them from me.

PM me and I have 2 brand new in box kid friendly stunt kites to send to a fellow Pelican.

I built kites for about 10 years or so. I take some of them out now and them just to relax.

Nice Hawaiian! I have an original 4-color one. The original ones are getting rare--hang on to yours as it's worth some money. It's a hoot to fly but needs a lot of room. The beach (Corolla, NC) is getting more and more crowded every summer.

I fly a Rev Blast and a original Rev II as well. The Blast is fun but the II is just twitchy. I've been trying to make up my mind about a SuperSonic or something custom from Elliot Shook (maker of the mesh kite in my pic) to match my Harley paint .

On a whim I bought an HQ Beamer V 4.0 and nearly died my first time out. We were having some pretty strong winds that week. Ugh.

I still have it, but I want to give it one more try. In sane winds. And with lines that are (now) the right lengths.

I'm 6'2", 220lbs. That day was the only day I ever wished I was both shorter and fatter.
