Yeah, like you have been on a hound hunt before? I usually lose several pounds in a weekend. And it isn't from sitting in the heated truck sippin' beer.

It never takes more than 5 posts for some azzhat to ruin hunting threads on this board.

This thread illustrates the creativeness of the group. That turd comment was fantastic.

Bear baiting? Never done it. But it makes sense sometimes. The foliage is too thick. You get to evaluate your target clearly. No wet sows get hit. It isn't a guarantee.

Dogs. I've gone to watch and running behind them is pure insanity. Safety glasses are a must. Like falconry only hill billyer. Fun. Hard.

I've been interesting to learn that due to the efforts of hunters and conservationist, the game population especially in the eastern part of the country has multiplied over the last couple of decades. Habitat rehabilitation. managed food plots, good game management all efforts led and practiced by hunters has been instrumental in bringing about these improvements.

Cheers Richard

Like falconry only hill billyer. That is funny Vash!!

If you want pics get a Critter cam, they can be set up anywhere and use IR at night and visible spectrum days to automatically snap shots

Sorry, but "Baiting" and waiting aint hunting, we would track the deer & wait along a deer trail, but never that "Canned" hunt crap, it takes the sport out of hunting.. And we hunted with Shot Guns..

We used to tie one hand behind our backs and put on a blindford, then hid behind a tree. We'd wait 'till a buck would walk by and we'd jump onto it's back and grab the rack and rassle it to the ground.

DEER SEASON

Check List Complete:

I scouted the area all summer. . .

I searched out the best location for my tree-stand . . ...

I set it all up a month ahead of time . . .

I trailed the herd . . .

I picked out a trophy buck .. ..

Two days before opening day I rechecked every aspect of the hunt . ..

Everything was in place . . ..

Sunday morning, I woke up at 2 am . .. .

I put on my camo, loaded my pack, set out for my stand . . .

This was destined to be an epic hunt . . ..

As I approached my deer stand .....

. . . . I changed my mind

Game population multiplied, but with a weaker gene pool.
Hunters kill the biggest strongest they can find.
That leaves the weaker to breed.
Eventually all the deer will get free cell phones too.

I was line at a 7-11 and there was a deer in line in front of me with two Red Bulls and three hot dogs. He paid for them with a EBT card.
