I would say he has "broader" or "more eccentric" tastes in auto design. I don't think that the Veyron would've come off of any Pelican's drawing board (I say this as a compliment to Pelicans).

Very interesting fellow. I like his thoughts on design. He can be both high tech and low tech. Shows why he is the head of design at Bugatti. His creative mind is flexible and he is hands on.

Cool vid. I especially like how he lifted the shifter.

Thanks Eric!

Didn't know Germans were involved with the Bugatti design. I wish I had all those Kevlar panels for MY SC!

Love the "direct water injection".

Open injector stacks while driving in the rain? How does that work out for ya'?

Wow... 1800 lbs. Sounds like he's making amends for the Veyron!

Does a particular company product those backdate panels? Specifically the rear decklid, hood, and front fenders?

Very cool, but what's even cooler than the car itself is that it sounds like he did a lot of the work himself.

Lightweight makes a lot of sense - that's appreciated. But why is everyone backdating the accordeon bumper cars? This will be a big regret in the future, just like the longhoods now which were made into slantnose 80s cars ...

I can't get over the weather. I am sure they didn't chose a random day to shoot this - probably waited a month and couldn't find a dry day. I HATE German weather.

nice clean car, would have thought he would have patched the stock exhaust cutout location though when using the center exit exhausts.
