My 914 Targa top is plastic? No wonder it has a different texture than the 911's top.

I can relate to that farmer...hard to resist having one of these plus it had sentimental value to him. I still think they will be the next 'collector Porsche' to go way up in value someday soon....

If i'm going to buy anything air cooled, it's going to be a later 911. I think the 914 is just too small for what I want. I can appreciate that they would be an awesome autocross car if you could twist up the power a bit.....lightwieght, nimble.

If you ever get the chance take a ride in a 914 that has a 2.4 or larger 911 six in it, as Kramer in Seinfeld would say " it will melt your face " Love mine with the 3.0.
