A new M3? Whats that going to run $70-80K? Not won over by anything Audi or BMW has in the mid price lux sedan. I came away liking the 550i even more. Found a review that may express what I mean:

My advice if your in the same market, buy a 550i. If my car's value is now in the mid 20's, its one of the best deals out there for shear driving pleasure

So why not buy a couple-year-newer 550XI and get your all wheel drive?

Hey Eric Speaking of M3s do you know what is a new one going to cost? Casual questioning in the showroom leads me to believe they want MSRP. Is there a bargaining position to go in with? No lease just a cash sale.

If I "liked" the new 5 series, I wouldn't be test driving all these cars. I have had some as loaners and they remind me of slightly shorter 7 series. The car has just gotten too big for my taste, but I may reconsider. I will look into it.

Without any negotiation or work, one of my local BMW dealers offers $3,330 off MSRP: 2013 New BMW M3 2dr Cpe at Motorwerks BMW Serving Bloomington, MN, IID 9383458

You can find used 2012s with under 5000 miles for $55-60K (depending on options) and NEW 2012 left-overs for $8000 off MSRP.

Here's a 2012 with 4,975 miles, local one-owner Audi trade (clean CarFax, at a Audi/Porsche dealer) for $54K Buy-It-Now: BMW : M3 CARBON FIBER ROOF 6 SPEED MANUAL 414 HORSEPOWER in BMW | eBay Motors

Here's a used 2013 with 450 miles, at BMW of Tulsa for $68K:Used 2013 BMW M3 2dr Cpe - BMW of Tulsa - New and Used BMW Dealer Serving Tulsa, Oklahoma

On the wholesale side, I know of:
A 2012 Silver M3 with 550 miles in FL for $66K
A 2012 White M3 with 1350 miles in GA for $64K
A 2012 Silver M3 with 2100 miles in PA for $63K
A 2012 White M3 with 6500 miles in TX for $57K
A 2012 Gray M3 with 6300 miles in CA for $59K
And many more with "normal miles" for thousands less....

Nothing substantive changed for 2013, and the new bodystyle is coming out sooooon (already out in sedans).
So why would you EVER pay $75K+ MSRP?!?!?

And why would you ever buy new??

The ones I see used are about 8-10 k less than new. For that amount and that type of car I was thinking it would be worth it.

Well, $10-15K savings for used M3s with under 9K miles sounds like a good deal to most people. Maybe order the exact one you want and shop around for a great deal.

Here's a recent thread (11/05/2012) on Bimmerfest about buying a new 2013 M3 Euro Delivery (he leased it):

Well, today I made the final decision. I was going to purchase a 135is or 335is but the leases on M3 improved so much this month I could not resist.

Here is the deal I agreed upon today. I placed my order this morning and already received my production number.

REBATE: $1500 (Holiday Cash)

TERM: 36 months
RATE: .00106 due to max Multiple Security Deposits

If I coundt the doc fee I am getting the M3 for $750 over invoice before the Holiday Cash. After Holiday cash I am paying around $750 below EU Invoice.

Here is what I am getting

2013 BMW M3 w/ 6spd Manual

300 Alpine White
