Thanks. And can I say again how much your advice is respected! The CTS-V would be my viceral choice, no doubt. As you can see, I'm leaning towards all wheel drive and 6 cylinders. Not that the amount of driving makes much of a difference for this to be an issue.

The Caddy is a FAR better car for the money.

Yes. Decided that is the most likely choice for where I'm at. The slight decrease in performance will be made up with its use year around. I think around here rear drive only is ordered less then 10%.

535XIs are cheap and plentiful right now -- a bargain. See the one I posted a page back

There was a loaded, clean silver 2009 with 78K miles that no-saled today in Tampa for $29K. Not many are under $30K, but there are more and more all the time.

I just sat with Paul, He sent over the wrong car that lease was for a stripped down 5 series. He re did it with the rate for the 335xi it is $683 for the same 39/ 10k miles with the same cash down.

The rebates change to $1,750 from the $2,750 he showed us on the first deal. He used the wrong money factor and holiday cash.



The holiday cash is $1,000 plus loyalty cash of $750 total $1,750.Sorry for the confusion, it is end of the month here and he is real busy



Send me over all the options you want color inside and out and I will get you a payment on it. The MSRP might be lower than the one I used. You might not need everything that was on this car, Build one up and I will work the boss for you. If the numbers work $500 deposit and in 6 to 8 weeks you will have a new car.

$60k for a 3-series...that just sounds nucking futs to me. Especially when it will be worth half in a couple years.

Welcome to 2013. Check out any new BMW, Audi , or MB. Nothing below $50k. You can see why I'm hesitant and keep looking used.:(

I was just browsing the local stealer's CPO 3 series inventory last night and there were plenty of nice ones for under $30k and with more warranty on them than you get with a new car. I had a 330i sedan and Mrs. Lee has a 328i coupe now. Honestly, I can't tell the difference in power. They are both more than adequate. Once in a while she gets a 3 series sedan as a loaner and it's so much more comfortable than her coupe. But no one needs an X-drive out here. I really can't see myself ever needing more than a 3 series. I test drove a few 5'ers a while back and they were just too much car for me.

I was just in Ireland not too long ago and spent two weeks with a new A6 TDI hire-car. I was pretty impressed with it as a whole (especially compared to earlier variants I'd seen/driven). The very decent MPG was a nice surprise as well.

I've had several Audi's and they are maintenance whores - but I still love them. And no, the supercharged car is not faster than the outgoing V8. It's only a hair slower, but it feels a lot slower.

On my way home tonight and had to come through a busy area that has stores and many redlights. Caught a new S4 coming up on me and took off weaving through the traffic. Was able to get into the lane next to him just as the light turned red. Didn't know what he as going to do so I let him make the first move. Heard his engine rev and did the same with mine. I have a tiptronic and put it in sport mode. It wasn't even close. I was easily 3 car lengths ahead in 50 yards. The S4 is almost 4000lbs and 330 hp. I thinks it needs more power.

There's an RS4 that should easily remedy that issue.

Are they making a new RS4? I've come to realization that for the time present, there is nothing out there worth changing to. I think I will do a reevaluation in the spring and see whats coming. A new M3? Whats that going to run $70-80K? Not won over by anything Audi or BMW has in the mid price lux sedan. I came away liking the 550i even more. Found a review that may express what I mean:

My advice if your in the same market, buy a 550i. If my car's value is now in the mid 20's, its one of the best deals out there for shear driving pleasure
