Wife Giving Me Crap About Buying A Cayman So...

I'm in the market for a Cayman but momma says that because its a two seater thats a direct indication I am not thinking of the family...don't fight the logic boyz, don't fight the logic.

So, even though a 911 is small, it does have a rumble seat. We can not control the wind but we can adjust our sails!

Maybe sump'n like this then? 996, 997, 998?

997. You've earned it and she'll get over it.

i might find it best to just agree with the argument and then do it because i want to. not EVERYTHING one does = thinking of the family.

Caymans kick ass.

Buy a Cayman - most trips are one or two people only anyway.

Get rid of her while you still can. It's not going to get better, it's only going to get worse. Before the wedding it's "Yes, yes, YES!" Forever after the wedding it's "NO." Get rid of her now before it's too late and costs you a hell of a lot more than a Cayman.

with a Cayman there will be no kids; and she cannot invite her gf's along on a trip with you

think about it...

Your Company needs a new car to travel safely in all conditions without hauling unnecessary people that would slow down the return to your loving arms???

It's the most fuel efficient and aerodynamic car on the market that I can afford and the resale value will all but pay for it when that time comes.

The savings from the tax man alone will pay for it via Co. write-offs, etc etc etc.

When you sit in the passanger seat, I have a hard time not to want to jump your bones right on the spot.

Yrs ago I was without a Porsche for about 10 yrs and since my wife has never been inside one let alone ride in one, I told her that I needed a Porsche because it was the safest car on the road and it was the best snowmobile with tires, she bought it hook line and sinker.

True!
Funny thing, I have never said no to her about anything. Anytime she wanted something, anything, I made it happen. I also never ever restricted her from doing anything either and I always agreed to what ever plans she has. I think I may have created a monster... a spoiled monster!

were all of things in line with "thinking of the family"?

sometimes, a guy needs to unwind in a fast and wonderful car. it makes being at home so much more bearable.

Just tell her that when you compare the numbers for a Cayman vs. Panamera, it's more affordable to go with the Cayman. You're putting the families finances first.
